¿Me lo cambiarán?
Commercial establishments are not required by law to accept changes or refunds simply due to the fact that we do not like a product or have changed their opinion about it. That “if you’re not satisfied, we give you back your money” is a well-known advertising claim that works in many stores … but not in all.
Legislative Royal Decree 1/2007, of November 16, refers to this topic, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users.
Contrary to what many consumers believe, establishments are not obliged to accept changes and refunds just because our purchase does not convince us or we have changed our mind.
Many establishments adopt commercial policies more favorable to the consumer and allow changes and refunds, but really the law only requires to admit the change:
- If the article presents some kind of defect or tare,
- If it is a remote purchase (Internet), then in that case there is a legal withdrawal period of 14 days.
We want you to be very happy with your purchase, but if that is not the case, we offer you the possibility of a product change within 15 days of delivery.
Shipping costs, provided they are not due to error or defective merchandise, will be borne by the customer.
We do not accept shipments postage due. Please, send your returns through the Post Office. Once accepted the return, we will send by email the labels issued by Correos that you will have to put in your package. Goya Center is not responsible for damage, loss or theft by transporting them.
When we check that the product you want to return is in perfect condition (with its original packaging and labels), we will process the product change.
Changes can be made for a product of equal or greater value. In case of greater value, they must pay the difference.
Remember that we are responsible for the return shipment; but in case of change of product for another must return to pay the shipping costs.
It is also important to note that we will only make product changes with registered customers and not with guests in order to guarantee a correct return and exchange of products. In no case, the money will be refunded.
